Vu Thi Hoang My was selected to represent Vietnam in Miss World 2012 pageant, in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on August 18, 2012.
Hoang My is 24 years old and stands 1.71m. She was the first runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2010. Hoang My is from Đong Nai province, Vietnam. She was also competed in Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Brazil but without success.

Vietnam’s Ministry of Culture has approved permision to Vu Hoang My, 1st runner-up at the Miss Vietnam 2010 pageant, to represent the country in the 2011 Miss Universe competition in Sao Paulo, from August 20 to September 12.

They will advance to the upcoming Miss Vietnam World pageant. Nguyen Phuong Anh is a 18-year-old pupil from Hungary.
